Payal Patel MD
Dr. Patel is a board-certified ophthalmologist completing her ophthalmology training at NYU Langone Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident. She then went on to complete the prestigious fellowship from the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, and Weill Cornell Hospital.
"As an oculoplastics specialist, I am dedicated to treating a wide array of conditions affecting the delicate structures surrounding the eye - this includes the eyelids, tear duct system and eye socket. My journey into this specialized field was driven by a lifelong passion for art, cultivated from an early age, which has seamlessly intertwined with my medical career. In every aspect of practice, I strive to combine the artistry that inspired me in youth with the technical proficiency demanded by oculoplastic surgery. Having practiced in the heart of New York City throughout my entire professional journey,I have developed a deep connection to the community I serve."
